All-inclusive Jordan

8 days: this is our all-inclusive tour of Jordan

If you want to put in the hands of our agency all the details of your trip, this is your perfect option: an all-inclusive tour of Jordan, that is, with the vast majority of services integrated into the package, especially airline tickets to get to and from home. In addition, the route is one of the most complete in our catalog, covering much of the interior of the country. Take a look at the proposal and discover Jordan worry-free thanks to our agency.

All-inclusive Jordan Tour: what we mean by it

At the end of this program we list in detail what goes in and what does not fit into this travel package. However, we say that it is a all-inclusive Jordan tour Because among the many services we offer are international airline tickets. That is, we will take your flights in and out of the country and include them in the total cost of the trip, choosing one of these two possible routes: Madrid-Amman and Barcelona-Amman, both with Royal Jordanian.

In addition to this detail, which very few packages include, you will also enjoy many other fundamental services for the development of the circuit, from the moment of setting foot on Jordanian soil until the moment of farewell at Amman Airport to return home: tickets to monuments, guided tours, dinners, etc. And of course, a transport service throughout the circuit, as well as professional accompaniment in Spanish.

What about Jordan's tourist destinations? Almost all included

With regard to the route itself, we can also talk about an all-inclusive circuit in Jordan.. Or almost: of all the important destinations in the country, practically only Aqaba, that is, the Red Sea, is left out. Therefore, this option is also very suitable for those who do not have a special interest in taking a dip in open water during their trip and prefer to concentrate on the interior attractions of the country… which are many.

In any case, whoever wishes, can take a bath outdoors, although not in 100% open waters: we are talking about the Dead Sea, a lake named after the sea that is famous because its waters have such a high mineral composition (above all, salt), which promotes the buoyancy of the body, so that any bather can stay on the surface effortlessly. That is one of the possible plans for the end of the circuit, as it provides a free day in this thermal destination.

In addition, the route takes in other truly iconic places in Jordan. For example, Petra, a rock-cut city that continues to fascinate more than two millennia after its creation. Or the desert of Wadi Rum, whose rocky wonders can be seen aboard a 4×4. Or Jerash, a Roman city comparable in beauty and conservation to Pompeii. Or places where history, art and religion are mixed, such as Mount Nebo, Madaba or Ajloun Castle…

Detailed itinerary of this all-inclusive Jordan tour

Day 2: Amman - Ajloun - Jerash - Amman

The second day of this circuit is the first of effective visit. And we will dedicate it to a most surprising region: northern Jordan. We will travel by road in double excursion format, after having breakfast at the hotel.

The first stop will be the castle of Ajloun, from the XII-XIII centuries, built on a previous Byzantine settlement. This fortress is not only impressive for its military architecture, but also for its green surroundings: the view will enter the nature reserve of Ajloun, where the Mediterranean climate and vegetation reign. During the visit we will recall the turbulent times of its construction, in which the Ayyubid troops of Saladin defeated the Christian crusaders of Jerusalem, and the Mamluks did the same with the Mongol invaders.

On the next visit of the day, Jerash, you have to go back further in time. As it will be easy to understand as soon as we arrive, we will travel to Roman times, since this city, then Gerasa, was one of the richest and most flourishing cities in the eastern territory of that empire. It is enough to take a walk through the Roman circus (hippodrome), the Oval Square (forum), the temple of Zeus, the theaters or the Arch of Hadrian to imagine its splendor in Antiquity.

After visiting its archaeological and monumental park, we will return to Amman, where you will spend a new night at the hotel. On this occasion, with dinner included in its facilities.

  • Breakfast at hotel in Amman
  • Road trip to:
    • Ajloun: visit of the castle
    • Jerash: visit of the Roman city
  • Return to Amman
  • Dinner and overnight at hotel in Amman

Day 3: Amman - Madaba - Mount Nebo - Petra

On the third day of this circuit, we leave Amman to tour the center of the country, through places of great interest from an artistic, historical and religious point of view: Madaba and Mount Nebo.

We will hit the road after breakfast at the hotel, and the first place to discover will be Madaba: it is a city of religious tolerance, where Christianity has been the protagonist since its inception. But without a doubt, our attention will focus above all on the Orthodox Church of St. George, and in particular on its Byzantine map-mosaic: elaborated in the sixth century, it is probably the first ‘cartographic’ representation of the Holy Land, with an extraordinary level of detail.

After that, we will head to nearby Mount Nebo. This mountain will forever be associated with Moses, since the prophet contemplated from here the Promised Land. It was denied, but he decided to stay here until the end of his life. Today, a church (with beautiful Byzantine mosaics), an interpretive space and a viewpoint recall that episode. Therefore, the traveler will be able to admire something similar to what Moses saw with his eyes more than 3,000 years ago: a panoramic view that covers the Jordan Valley and Jerusalem, as well as the Dead Sea… where by the way we will travel in the last bars of this ‘all-inclusive’ Jordan circuit.

Before that moment, there is a lot to see. For example, Petra: we will move there after leaving Mount Nebo, although for this day you will only settle in the hotel in the annexed town of Wasi Musa, where you will have dinner and rest to face the visit of the next day with strength.

  • Breakfast at hotel in Amman
  • Road trip to:
    • Madaba: visit of the mosaic map of the church of San Jorge
    • Mount Nebo: visit of the sacred mountain
  • Arrival in Wadi Musa (Petra)
  • Dinner and hotel in Wadi Musa (Petra)

Day 4: Petra

Petra is one of those destinations that you can not miss in a circuit of Jordan with all inclusive. And in this trip it is not only present, but we dedicate the minimum time it deserves: a full day of visit to reach its most representative corners.

After breakfast at the hotel of Wadi Musa, we will go to the Visitor Center to start the tour, which overwhelms us from the beginning: the Tomb of the Obelisks will welcome us and the Siq will lead us through a narrow canyon to the most famous place of this enclave, the Treasury, a mortuary temple excavated in the rock to host the tomb of King Aretas III in the first century BC.

It was one of the moments of maximum splendor of this Nabataean city, but the same can also be seen in the rest of the places that we will know immediately: the Street of the Façades, the theater, the religious temples and the urban area of the city, which was also enlarged under Roman domination, with roads as beautiful as Columnada Street. By then, there will only be one last challenge: climb the nearly 850 steps until you reach the Al Deir Monastery, used by the Byzantines and of beauty similar to the Treasury.

This string of places of interest, added to many others present in Petra, explain why it was declared a World Heritage Site in 1985. After touring this rich list of monuments, landscapes and stories, we will return to Wadi Musa’s hotel to have dinner and rest.

  • Breakfast of hotel in Wadi Musa (Petra)
  • Full-day Petra Tour
  • Dinner and overnight at hotel in Wadi Musa (Petra)

Day 5: Petra - Little Petra - Wadi Rum

Petra is a unique place, but near it there is another similar and related enclave: Little Petra. We will move to it in the morning (approximately 10 km) after having breakfast at the hotel in Wadi Musa.

It is an ancient population also excavated in the rock, with cannons articulating the space. Even today you can see what at the time were homes, commercial premises and even temples, as it is believed that it was a settlement that gave logistical or agricultural service to Petra.

After visiting this surprising place, another of the great attractions of the trip arrives: Wadi Rum, which like Petra, can not miss in any circuit in Jordan with all inclusive and is declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. When we reach this desert, we will change vehicles: we will get on a 4×4 SUV to travel tracks and corners that have remained almost intact by man … except for the petroglyphs carved long ago in the canyons. Some of them will be part of the visit, as well as reddish sand dunes, arches and rock bridges and other whimsical formations.

But after the two-hour route in 4×4, the interest of the day does not wane, far from it: we will go to the Bedouin camp that will welcome us tonight, to dine and rest in nomadic tents with all the comfort. That will allow us to have more in sight the sky above our heads, a spectacle of bright stars that has no comparison in the northern hemisphere.

  • Breakfast of hotel in Wadi Musa (Petra)
  • Little Petra Tour
  • Road trip to Wadi Rum
    • Two-hour 4×4 tour through the Wadi Rum desert
  • Dinner and overnight at Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum

Day 6: Wadi Rum - Dead Sea

The awakening of the sixth day will probably be the most special of the circuit, because it occurs in the desert. And that has a prize, especially for early risers: watching the sunrise is a spectacle of lights that dye the sky and the mountains of this nature reserve and that will be engraved in the retina of those who witness it.

Afterwards, we will have breakfast and continue the route. If the desert of Wadi Rum seems in some points a sea of rock and sand, on this day we travel to another place that looks like a sea and is not, but also has a special charm: the Dead Sea. His name hides a lie and a truth. The lie: that it is a sea, because in reality it is a lake that currently only feeds on the scarce waters provided by the Jordan River. And the truth: that in its waters there is no marine life, because its extreme level of salt and other minerals prevent it.

But in return, this composition favors something else: the almost unreal buoyancy of the body, which practically cannot be submerged due to the very high density of water (1.24 kg / liter), much higher than that of the sea. In addition, it is indicated for treatments against health problems and its properties are used in cosmetic products.

You will discover all this here, at your own pace and according to your preferences, because the day is free: you can take a bath in its private beaches, you can undergo a wellness treatment in the hotel facilities or other centers in the area, etc. And whatever the plan, you will have dinner at your disposal at the hotel.

  • Sunrise and breakfast at Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum
  • Road trip to the Dead Sea
  • Rest of the day at leisure
  • Dinner and overnight at hotel at the Dead Sea

Day 7: Dead Sea

The previous day of the circuit, that is, the sixth, you can take it easy, since this seventh day will also be spent in the Dead Sea and freely, after breakfast in the hotel facilities.

It may be a good time to take a new bath or do the spa activity that did not give time the day before. But you can also take the opportunity to tour the Jordanian shore of this lake and visit some places of historical interest, such as archaeological sites (Machaeron, the sanctuary of Lot, etc.), or visit places explaining the environment, such as the Dead Sea Museum. Nor will the place of Christ’s baptism in the nearby Jordan Valley be far away.

In addition, as you move away from the shore and gain height, the panoramic views are very interesting. From there it will be easy to understand another unusual fact: the Dead Sea is the lowest point on the planet, as it is about -400 meters above sea level.

In the evening, dinner will again be available at the hotel before the night’s rest, which will be the last of this all-inclusive Jordan tour.

  • Breakfast at hotel in the Dead Sea
  • Free day
  • Dinner and overnight at hotel at the Dead Sea

Day 8: Dead Sea - Amman Airport

After breakfast at the Dead Sea hotel and check-out, we will pick you up in our private vehicle and transfer you directly to Queen Alia Amman International Airport, without having to go through that city. We will leave you in the same terminal and, if you need it, we will provide you with the last assistance to take the flight back home without problems. It will also be the moment of farewell and to thank you for the trust placed in our agency.

  • Breakfast at hotel in the Dead Sea
